Top 5 Denver Fashion Boutiques

These Top 5 boutiques are locally owned and operated in the Denver area.
Womens:
1) Eve
1415 Larimer Street
www.eveinc.net
I am fully convinced that the absolute nicest lady in the world owns this store. Her name is Sabina, and she is willing to help you with whatever you need! The swanky store is decorated with murals painted on the walls, and Sabina carries mainly European lines that you cannot find elsewhere. Before you buy a garment from her she tells you trends that she saw at the latest runway shows, and how to wash the garment with respects to shrink room. Along with her European lines she carries lingerie from Cosabella, and local artists’ artwork (ranging from paintings, to belt buckles, to jewelry). This store is a must see, though it is a bit on the pricy side.
2) Violet
1439 Larimer Street
Violet is a very cute, narrow store that is decorated with pink and brick walls. The storeowner carries United States lines as well as Asian lines. She also recently started carrying It! Jeans. Everything in this store is under $100. While tops and dresses seem to be the core of her business, she does carry locally designed/made handbags and accessories that are absolutely gorgeous.
3) Cali & Mo
500 16th Street #234
Cali & Mo is a small vintage inspired boutique that is filled with a small section of vintage clothing, and a larger selection of vintage-inspired pieces. On top of the wonderful garments you will find, they have the most exquisite costume jewelry and antique furniture you will find. They are on the pricier end, however, it is well worth checking out if you haven’t already.
4) Pink’s
745 S. University Blvd.
Pink’s is a feel-good boutique. Upon entering the store you will realize that it is perfectly adorned with shades of pink and topped off with cute hot pink curtains for the dressing rooms. Clothing is pouring out the racks that line both of the walls as well as a middle island, and the customer service is absolutely phenomenal. Pink’s clothing is always date-ready, and the prices are very reasonable.
5) Fancy Tiger
14 S. Broadway
www.fancytiger.com
You cannot help but be lured into the Fancy Tiger. After you walk in the door of this quirky store is becomes quite clear that you are in for a rare treat. Most of the inventory is hand-made garments or jewelry by local designers, which makes everything you purchase even better, because once it’s gone—it will never be back. There are certain things in this store that are really out there for my taste, but for the most part, the merchandise is simply stunning. I would venture to say 95% of the store’s stock is under $100.
Mens:
1) Soul Haus
1225 E. 17th Avenue
www.soulhaus.com
With neatly organized rack upon rack of clothing, and graffiti murals painted on the wall, this store is easily one of the coolest men’s boutiques that I have seen in a while. The sales representatives were friendly without being overbearing, and informed me that they order small quantities of each style garment and once it’s gone, they do not reorder. Having said this, they also have a new shipment of clothing each week, so you will literally find something new each time you come in. Pricing at Soul Haus is fairly expensive, but they always have really great stuff on sale.
2) Triage
1512 Larimer Street
Another great store on Larimer Street is Triage. They carry a wonderful selection of both men’s and women’s clothing. The owner, David Scott, has absolutely amazing taste for his suiting as well as his casual wear. His eye for style is unmatched when it comes to men’s fashion in the Denver area. Although you will be shelling out quite a bit of money, trust me, it will be well worth it. To be amongst the best dressed in Denver, you must pay a visit to David Scott at Triage—he will know how to make you look good.
3) Fancy Tiger
14 S. Broadway
Now Fancy Tiger is one both lists for men and women, because I was equally impressed with both selections. I took a friend who shopped the men’s side and came across the coolest, hand-made, leather jacket that seemed to be perfectly tailored for him, and we were informed it was made out of recycled bottles. In addition, they had some of the best (not too long, but not short) shorts, which seemed to have hit the spot, seeing as they had one pair left. The owner Matthew was readily available to answer any questions and make valuable suggestions, or just shed some light on how things were made or who made them.
4) Andrisen Morton Co.
270 Saint Paul Street
www.andrisenmorton.com
If you want “high-end” clothing, but not the snooty service that usually comes with, Andrisen Morton Co. is your store. They carry everything from measured shirting to casual sportswear, but they always keep a fashion-forward approach at the heart of the business. In addition, they have a wonderful selection of shoes, and they might just offer you a beer while you shop!
5) Metroboom
1550 Platte Street
www.metroboom.com
I have to admit, I was slightly jealous upon stepping into this utopia of a place. Not only was every member of the staff so incredibly friendly and helpful, offering me a wide variety of drinks, but the owner Jung is simply remarkable. At Metroboom you can come in, grab a water or a beer, and lounge on the big comfy couches, watch a little TV or read Men’s Vogue while waiting for your haircut, or you can browse the stylish selection of menswear. Jung gets the fact that men want to look good, and he has a great concept of how to achieve a unique style for each person that will stand out in a great way. Everything at Metroboom is at least half the price of your leading department store such as Neimen Marcus or Nordstrom, and you will leave feeling like their #1 customer!
